APPIE FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS AUTUMN WEEKEND The 10th annual Apple Festival, spon- sored by the Bloomfield Jaycees, offered several attractions for a variety of in- terests. The highlight of the weekend was the crowning of the queen. The contestants collected donations from businesses, presented their talents, and were in- terviewed by the judges. The Bloomfield Varsity Chorus and Strut 8: Fret members presented a variety show which included songs from Broadway. The Best of Broadway show was written by Fran Moore, former BHS student. With hopes of earning a profit, Dianna Jackson, Kara Barnard, and Mrs. Lank- ford work at the Art Club stand making leather crafts. According to Sharon Carmichael carmel apples are finger lickin' good when they come from the Apple Festival.
