SPRING PLAY On April 19, 20, and 21 the audiences were elated at the outstanding production of Oklahoma! performed by the Strut and Fret Club. Ten weeks of strenuous rehearsals were put into making this one of the best musical productions ever. From the start of the crowd-pleasing Oh What A Beautiful Mornin', to the rafter-raising Oklahoma! finale, cooperation and dedication of each member of the cast and crews were evident. The director, James Kevin Butler, and sponsor, Mrs. Andis, earned the respect of the cast through their talent and guidance. The cast displayed their appreciation by presenting gifts to the adult production staff. Upper: The main characters of Oklahoma are posing for their family portrait. Middle: Aunt Eller tFran Moore? breaks up a fight at the square dance by firing a pistol. Lower Left: Tammy Ellis and Terri Fines are rehearsing for the grand finale. INTRAMURAL Rocms TAKE THE CHAMPIONSH P E ROCKETS - Row 1: Jim Edwards, Roger Clark, Mike Reed, Matt Bland. Row 2: Steve Workman, Keith Graves, Rod Roblnette, Brian Frederick. lla 'MQW gfilfifhq 1 IntramLu'a1 basketball is played by high school boys not playing in the regular school basketball program. There are five teams with an average of twelve boys on each team. Each team has a senior captain. The boys play on Tuesdays and Thursdays before school. The game begins at 7:30 and consists of two 15- minute halves. The championship game is played during an A-period at the end of January. This year the Rockets and the Bears played in the championship game with the Rockets coming out on top. Upper: As Keith Graves moves the ball down the court, he devises a way to maneuver around the other team's defense. Lower Left: With one thought in his mind - to increase his team's score - Jeff Goad shoots for two points. Lower Right: Starting the game off right for the Hawks, Kenny Edwards gets the tip-off. 13
