Mrs. Grace Blackmore Mrs. Blackmore gives a hearing test to senior, Janet Walters. QV , . Mrs. Grace Blackmore is the school's registered nurse, she administers eye and ear tests and supervises the grade school playground in the mornings. In the afternoon she monitors the high school study halls. Occupying her few spare moments, Mrs. Blackmore sews for her four daughters, is a gourmet, and enjoys life on the farm. lilly Antiquated desks and other furnishings have been replaced by modern tables and equipment in the assembly which now becomes a combination library and study supervised here by Mrs.. Blackmore. 15

Mr. Mattoxg wife, Patg and son, Chris. Mr. Walter Matrox Mr. Mattox develops a rush picture for THE OWL. Mr. Walter Mattox graduated from Indiana State Teachers College with a B. S. degree. He also has earned a M. S. degree. He teaches chemistry besides being the guidance counselor and senior sponsor. This year he has utilized our new photography laboratory. Many pictures in this yearbook were developed by Mr. Mattox. Mr. Matrox is a faithful Methodist Sunday School superintendent and a devoted family man.

This year she is involved with the duties of President of Indiana Vocational and Practical Arts Association.
