Sopho- mores are probationary members. The group were formally installed as mem- bers by the Brazil Chapter. The local organization was formed through the efforts of the Student Council. The National Honor Society is a school organ- ization for outstanding students of grades 10-ll-12. Its purpose shall be to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in the students of Bloom- field High School. 8th Grade: Bonnie Hanson Mike Neill 9th Grade: Tommy Workman Nancy Dean Student Council Operating as the connective link be- tween the student body and the administra- tion, the Student Council is the most impor- tant and the 1T1OSt influential organization at Bloomfield. The student Council offers each student at Bloomfield the opportunity to im- prove his school through class representatives. The two representatives listen to ideas, eval- uate them, and express them in meetings with the administration. 'I2 Superintendent Richard Richeson As superintendent of Bloomfield School District, Mr. Richeson is responsible for administering many improvement projects. His main concern this year has been the completion of the new grade school. He is active in many community affairs as a Rotarian, Christian Sunday School teacher, and Mason. With all these activi- ties, the pride and joy of his life is his family. The apples of my eye Mrs. Shirley Roudebush is Mr. R.icheson's sec- retary, and is also treasurer of the school activi- ties fund starting as of January, 1962.
