Superintendent ond Principal Mr. Richard M, Richeson has been superintendent of B,H,S, for the past four years, He attended Bloomfield Public Schools for twelve years, He received his B,S, and M,S, Degrees from Indiana State Teachers' College. He served four years in the U,S, Army Air Force. He taught in Pine Village and Worthington before coming to Bloomfield. Under his administration our new annex has been completed and consolidation has been achieved. Mr Ralph W Young has been principal ofB H S for the past four years He received his A B and M S Degrees from Indiana University and taught in Unionville and Stinesville before coming to Bloomfield He came to B H S 1945 and spent his first 11 years teaching history and government and acting as head coach Student Council The Student Council 1S composed of one boy and one girl elected by each class at the begin ning of the school year In addition thepresident of each class club or activity is a member The group is divided into committees which have charge of planning and conducting convocations plan ning recreation for the noon hour and conducting school parties There is also a committee for the care and improvement of the buildings and grounds The Student Council sold theater tickets this year and the profit will be spent on some improvement for the school . . . . . . . ...in 0 . , .. , . SECRETARY TO PRINCIPAL MARTHA GLOVER SHIRLEY ROUDEBUSH O Flu c e H e I p SECRETARY TO SUPERINTENDENT The office help is usually all senior girls which have assembly periods during the day. The work of these girls consists of collecting the attendance slips each day, running errands, operat- ing mimeograph machines, typing tests for the teachers, answering the telephone when Mrs, Glover is absent, delivering messages, and using the paper cutter for various jobs. These girls are also used in any extra duties such as card file work for the photographer and clerical work for the immunization program. 2 .X .p-
