As they pulled into the combtnauon gas station and restaurant, a man came rushing out to ftll the s tank. Hts features seemed famlhar, and upon closer observat1on they dtscovered that he was Harold Bough, He informed them that the food at the Filthy Platter was delictous From the attracttve waitress Miss Carolyn Padgett, our travelers each ordered a rare cheeseburger with onion and a glass of milk. At Daytona Beach Miss Miles decided to enter her V 8 Chevy tn the Daytona Drags She received a hst of drtvers from the Idle Wtld Hot Rod Club president, sleepy Bob Jackson. Some of the farruhar drivers were Mary Jane Blue Goose Radcliff Daniel Speedy Quillen Slurley Faster Foster but Bob said that Sally Monk ' Maller with her speed shlfts would get the most out of the outdated 56 wluch was beaten by 10 car lengths At Miami they decided to have a mght on the town at Cecil Blaker's rught club wtth hula dancer Karen Flater Blaker and James Brando Bault for entertainment.
