CHARLOTTE F. DEGEN The girls of the Class of '55 greatly ap- preciate Miss Degen's keen interest and tireless patience. Many have been the occa- sions upon which her sympathetic under- standing and unerring iudgment have guided us in our academic and extracurricular un- dertakings. She has devoted innumerable hours both before and after school to help- ing us through many trying situations, she was always ready to lend a sympathetic ear to our problems and to offer suggestions for their solution. Miss Degen's outstanding con- tributions to the success of our class will always remain a part of our fond memories of B.H.S. To her, our guidance counselor, class adviser, and friend, we extend our heart-felt thanks. GEORGE L. In your capacity as guidance counselor, your primary concern has been helping us solve our problems, whether they dealt with high school, college, or present and future employment.
