Barb Anderson has a very up and coming wrestling career. She's made famous her reverse ear lock and her nose crush. Phyllis Steele is a test driver for General Motors. She's the first wom- an in Oakland County to drive up Mt. Everest and back. After spending several years at the University of New Mexico, Senor- ita Stephanie Kimbrough has quit school to become the foremost woman matadora. Sally Grisinger has become a notorious skier. She's the only person to go off a jump backwards without skis Once she landed on all fours and left a bear track which was followed by hunters for five days. Kay Robinson and Sue Lovett both have gone into interesting fields of work. Kay is a sparring partner for a boxing kangaroo, and Sue is a deep sea diver in the Rouge River. Emily Shuster sprays farmer's crops from her private airplane. Her latest exploit was to save Mr. 8: Mrs. Ralph Molotky's, the former Judy Ryan, alfalfa fields. Doug Wolters photographs criminals for the F.B.I. He says that John Wellington has passed through the line to pose for him several times. Ilse Rogers has informed me that she is still reducing. She was offer- ed co-ownership in the Slenderella Salon after keeping them in business for ten years. Susan Swats has made the public forget about the death of Hattie Car- negie with her striking fashion designs in over-alls for railroad engineers and rhubarb farmers. Judy Blasiola is past president of the W.C.T.U. and has decided to open up a home for the retired spinsters of the class of '56, The Dorothy Dix of the day is Sally Boyd. For advice to the lovelorn and matrimonial troubles consult Pidge Boyd. Sue Quinn is still a magician's assistant. She perfected numerous vanishing acts but none was so complete as the vanishing of a 510,000 oil well she invested in while in California that disappeared overnight. Nursie Mary Spiess and Doc Waldo Willett are members of the staff at Pontiac State Hospital. They both are in charge of the floor on which all the patients think they' re Napoleon. Walter is recovering from an injury that occurred when he was unexpectedly hit in the back of the head by a soggy bath towel thrown by one of his mental cases. Jacquie Trombley has composed several songs lately which have been tops on the hit parade. The latest are entitled: I've Got the Gimmes, So Give Me Another Too , and The Chimney Sweeper Waltze Carl Morrow and Phil Knope, the recent champion cuckoo bird callers, have donated their prize to Mr. Hundley. They hope he will enjoy the bird bath. Well, as you can plainly see the class didn't quite live up to it's expec- tations. The members of our class aren't unemployed, but they don't have the best jobs. I'll write you in another few years and tell you ifany of them are more successful. ' Your obedient servant, Mildred 110

Dave Vhay is showing off his muscles by being a life guard on the Sahara Desert. He does work off season to keep in shape by building his own pyramids. Joan Wettlaufer gives her clientele quite a workout as a Swedish masseuse. Margaret Pahl, the new drama star on her TV serial Sob Storm, has the daylights pounded out of her by Joan each day before cur- tain time. The TV programs of recent months have featured some of my old classmates. Anne Hammonds plays Princess Summer-Fall-Winter-Spring on the Howdy Dowdy show starring her hubby Hal. Ken Haines, known as Bluey Grant, has replaced Pinky Lee as the housewive's latest hearthrob. Willis Anderson has been pulling some fast tricks on Andrew H. Brown. He co-stars with Andy Brown in weekly show Sapphire 8a Mama. Georgia Dumville, a research chemist for Park Davis Co., has dis- covered a remedy for flat feet. It consists of pills producing violent stomach distress and thus distracting the patient from his fallen arches. If you would like some cheery birthday wishes, call Mary Lou Fuller. Western Union has hired'her to sing telegrams. Ginny Dowling busies herself in trying to revive the Russian throne of Nicolai Ivonovich Lobachesky and has established herself as the new court jester. CQ, CQ--Dave Parker and Denny Moriarty calling. They are still the big ham set operators. They have secured numbers of all girls in Oak- land County and have converted their sets for local calls only. Dotty Jones has informed me that she is secretary to the big execu- tive Paul Doeren. He manufactures antique spitoons. Judy Badger's ambition to become a merchandizer has been realized. She buys space suits for Sam Benson's. She's also developed a reputation as a select purchaser of suede combat boots. Luigi's restaurant is now owned by Harvey Pranian. He still no smokes, no cussa, and no takea the drink. Jim Sickles is the head streetcleaner in the Beaubien-Hastings district. His white uniform is cleaned by Karen Manley of Birmingham Cleaners. The speech class gave Lynn Forster the poise and speaking ability she's needed for her job. I found her demonstrating cosmetics and other items for the preservation of females at Woolworth's. Persuing his medical career is Chuck Hassett. He's an eye, ear, nose, and throat specialist for hampsters, goats, and residents of Alabama. The head of the Captain Midnight Squadron in this area of the earth is Jim Doyle. Destination Doyle can be seen between the hours of twelve and six floating through the air on his little flying saucer. Barb Woolson is still trying for a prize doing the Atomic Amble on Saturday Party. Brenda Ford of the R.G. gl G.R. Ford Funeral Home specializes in em- balming bodies. She finds the job offers the peace and quiet she has been looking for. Nancy Harger's musical ability has helped her to decide upon being an organ grinder. Her hilarious monkey and fine repertoire of songs earn her an average of 25 dimes and 2 packs of spearmint gum a day. One of my former classmates, Chuck Hohmeier, has made a big name for himself at Olympia. He polishes hockey pucks and during games scrapes the ice. 109
