It seeks to produce characters that need no external constraints for the right employ- ment of their powers. Christianity puts its emphasis upon the social as well as upon the individual virtues. It views man in his relation to his fellows and calls on him to play his part in the world's corporate life. I trust that here you have received such training and inspiration as will constrain you to act well your part in the drama of life that just now exhibits such tragic features, that you will labor for a better world and by your sacrificial and consecrated service will reflect credit on our Institution and on the religion you profess. Remember, that while you have finished your course here your education is not completed. we shall follow you with our interest and our prayers and may the best of good fortune attend you.
