DRAMATICS CLUB Presxdent Janette Fnes Vzce Presldent Joyce Kleckner Secretary Mxldred Reddm Treasurer Dw1ght Emmxtt Hello Well, we ve organxzed a Dramatmcs Club wxth much thanks to Mrs Nyce She has wrllingly gxven us much of her trme and effort to or gamze thxs club The purpose of the Drarnatxcs Club 18 to help us understand the funda mentals of putting on a play We are learmng a lot that IS needed to put on IS todo We pre sented a play Joan of Arc February 15 whxch was put on by students of Bowling Green Umversxty We hope to put on a play of our own usmg our own scenery and hghtmg system Our club cons1sts of over srxty members all of whom have taken an actxve part m the Dramatics Club Our meetings are carned on m a formal parliamentary procedure We discuss our topmcs with Mrs Nyce who tells us what we want to know We went to see a play January l9 at Bowling Green Umversity The play Faxnlly Portrait was very mterestlng as it dealt with the story of Jesus and it was ve ry beautlfully portrayed We the Dramatzcs Club would like to thank Mrs Nyce who has made our club possible BUSY B The Busy B, our school paper, was first organized ln September 1946 with Luette Srnith as Editor The next year Joan Loe took over Luette s job The Busy B is published the first Thursday of each month We have tried to keep you posted on the latest news around school and the staff en joyed doing it We have a staff consisting of twenty four members and all have done a very good job We give our thanks to Mildred Reddln, Pat McGrain, Nancy Stearns, Cheryl Purkey, and all of the other staff members who have helped to make the paper a success.
