SENIOR CLASS HISTORY It was a warm day in early September when we first started our school days togeth r With shinning eyes, and stiffly starched dresses and trousers, we entered the first grade room Our primary years passed quickly, leaving mPmOl1CS of sand boxes and number houses,health posters and time tablcs,spelling charts and story books The third glade brought the much anticipated geog ranhy, with all its curious lands and peoples In the fourth we found ourselves peeking with awe at our coun tries great heroes between the covers of our history books Of course all through grade school we had many par ties A year w1sn't complete without a Halloween cele bration with ooneorn and pumpkin faces Nor did we ever forget to celebrate Christmas, with its many gifts, or St Valentines Day In the years before our entrance into high school we learned, or tried to learn, to sing music in parts The girls tlied to master cooking and sewing, while the boys constructed book shelves and match boxes As Freshmen we mceulrcd a new importance, for we were in high school wt la t Science sprang into the foreground and a small band of Latin students tackled Caesar Our Sophomore, as our Freshman, was an eventful and altogether ucce sful Veer.
