BOY SCOUTS The Bloomdale Scout Troop No. 557 was organized in the spring of l958 under the supervision of Stuart Miller with an assistant, Clair Wilson At that time there were ten members Today there are twenty scouts in our troop Our troop is nov divided into three patrols, Fox, Eagle, and Cobra The patrol leade1s are Bill Holt, leader for the Foxes Boo Brown, leadex oi the Eagles, and Bud Slotteroeck, leader of the Cobras Our scout masters at the p esent time are Flank Barnhart, Jr and his assistant Clair Wil on Members of the troop have taken a week's trip to Camp Miakonda, near Toledo, Ohio The scouting spirit and teachings are something that every boy seems to enjoy Bob Brown GIRL When the Girl Scouts we anticipated a good time then we have GXOGT16HCGd bandage vardous parts OI follow trail signs, now to SCOUTS organized in November, 1958 along with nard work Since both a we learned how to the bod , how to make and appreciate ooera, and how to understand nature's wonderful way As we look back over tdis year and a half we EH1HK together as Usister U We have also been b ought closer to our nslstersu in OEHPI natlons by ou1 correspondence with foreign girls With the aid of our faithlul leaders, Captain Aldce Bibler and Lieutenant Helen Muir, we hope Bloom dale will some day be oroud op its Girl Scouts The charter members are Betty Thompson, Alberta Guislnger Ellen Tzeece, Marilyn Brown Posie Barnhart, Lois and Ruth Simon, Heler Brandeoerry, and Miriam Muir New members are Mary Lou Beagle, Aileen DeWeese, Helen Long, Betty Lou french, and Ila Mae dousholder M1Pl5m Muir , 5 o C- ' O I 4. x Q 0 - at 1 5 . - 11 K 1 - .
