The Bloom Tradition by Vanessa Walker Ever since 1938 Bloom's halls hove been filled with students. Students who have been high- achievers—succeeding at and reaching all of their goals. Others hove been ordinary, overage students who did nothing great, but who will be a positive addition to society. Then there hove been the stu- dents who were merely at Bloom to walk the halls. These people will be a menace to society. They usually stayed here more than four years and were either troublemakers or total hermits. Still and oil, most former students con look bock on their years at Bloom and smile, or maybe even laugh. Bloom has always combined the features of academics, sports and just plain old spirit. If reading this has served its purpose and put reminiscing on your mind, then prepare to turn the pages of time—not present or future, but the past.
