Trying to protect her husband from the wrath of Anne's mother, Mrs. VanDaan answers tlze questions asked by Mrs. Frank fKinz Rugej. From the first moment the curtain rose on the scene of a dingy attic in Belgium, the Senior class's production of The Diary of Anne Franki' delighted audiences. The three act drama was presented on October 30, 31, and November l, under the direction of Mr. Richard Peter- son and Tonette Kowalski, student director. Rose Ro- tondi, portraying the young energetic Jewish girl, Anne Frank, manages to transform the dingy attic into a bright new world for all who live there. Supporting her in the roles of Mr. Frank and Peter were John Schmueck and Tim Kretschmar. Other principal characters were Mrs. Frank CKim Rugej, Margot CKathy Annunziataj, Mr. Van Daan CBarry Gordonj, Mrs. Van Daan CCarol Adamsj, Mr. Dussel QBarry Fasmanb, Meip CLinda Urbanj, And Mr. Kraler CDavid Flowersj.
