'War X-.. 'Q .,.. I To be able to entertain and care for children is one of the skills developed in Homemaking II class. Tomorrow's Homemakers Develop Their Skills Of course we have all gotten a whiff of some mouth-watering aroma while passing through the Homemaking building. Gosh, it smells goodg wha could they be making today? Or maybe you've heard the industrious whirr of a sewing machine and soon afterwards saw your friend displaying the dress she had made. Have you yet seen the shrunken freshmen? Theylre really future fresh- men, for these are the children participating in the Child Development classes. Homemaking classes prepare tomorrow's mothers and home managers to enter their new life with skill and experience which they otherwise would not have acquired. Melody Inucci, Marianne Currier, and Joyce Capriotti il- lustrate the steps involved in sewing a skirt in Survey of Homemaking class, which teaches senior girls to sew and cook. As Melody happily sews, Joyce seems confused as slze pins the pattern to the material, and, pressing her fin- ished product, Marianne looks both proud and pleased.
