Each scurried to his respective class-some to business, some to industrial education, others to homemaking, and still others to college prep classes. Today both foreign and domestic languages are important requirements for college entrance. English Literature acquaints the college aspirant with some history of Great Britain and Englandis authors and their works. World Literature is more gener- al and covers literature originating from a large number of countries. Senior Composition gives seniors a chance to exercise and improve their Writing ability. Term papers and special reports teach students to budget their time as they must do in college. Foreign languages not only increase knowledge but also acquaint one with interesting people of foreign lands and their customs. Displaying their writing talents in Sen- ior Composition class are Beth Gaby, Karen Lodl, Kim Ruge, and David Flowers. 9
