Lcitin Students Visit Wild West Have Toga, Will Travel, a sharp- shootin' western, was the theme ot this year's Latin Banquet. Parodies ot TV shows, such as Gunsmoke, star- ring such well-lcnown characters as Mat Dillonus, the Mercury lcid. and Felicia, better lcnown as Kitty, were presented. Students were also enter- tained by a tew traditional Latin slcits. Atter a welcome, a response, and an invocation the guests were served the banquet in the cateteria. As Ro- man custom dictates, a toast ot wine lgrape iuicel was given atter the meal. Miss Viola Herr, tormer language de- partment chairman and counselor, was a special guest. Lett: Dr. and Mrs. H. H. Metcalt, Bill Parisi, Sue Bourque, and Sydney Simpson enioy a Roman repast. Peporomo Arouses School Spirit Held during the halt ot the Bloom-Blue Island game. the Peporama consisted ot numerous tloats decorated by the Pep Club and other student organizations.
