The New Year came for Bloomites on September 4, when they returned to classes after a leisurely summer vacation. There were new teachers, new students, new buildings, and new classes. New clocks ticked in classrooms, and the cafe- teria finally sported new posters. Of cours'e, to freshmen, everything was new, but upperclassmen found the old familiar, too. Seniors ventured into Mr. Nelson's chemistry lab, as other seniors had done before them, and familiar trophies gleamed with new ones in the front hall, Mr. Dale Lawton demonstrates the trick of boiling water until it turns to ice before his seventh hour physics class. Fomilior School Scenes Mr. Schneider shows the correct forms of letters to one Nancy Shranz and Maria Rigotti practice oil painting in of his many typing classes.
