Soon after Bloom opens its doors in early fall, the photographer appears with his equipment to take everybody's picture. Gym time is used for sittings for the cameraman as we pose with bright smiles on our faces. A tradition at Bloom for many years has been that an individual picture of each student appears in the yearbook. Sometimes the underclassmen look like peewees-but they're there. Above, Mr. Flanders prepares to snap a junior, Lowell Walker, as others wait their turn. Me Beg hning School life at Bloom is not restricted to reading, writing, and arithmetic, for the social side is not neg- lected. Participation in numerous extra-curricular ac- tivities which include the student government, pub- lications, music organizations, and clubs.
