Moffzers' fioiday Piggy lnanks and pink clouds adorned each table at the annual Mother-Daughter Banquet on February 24. Girls League President Dorothy Koehn.opened the formal program with a wel- come to the girls and their mothers. following which Carmen Stanley. Bessie Rice. and Mari- lyn Raney entertained the group with an orig- inal radio skit. Dr. Harold Metcalfalnly served as the speaker for the evening. pointing out that. after all. the senior girls were well worth all the trouble and anxiety that they had caused their parents. The evening was concluded with an endow- ment from Dr. Metcalf to each and every girl: I know that you will all receive the best of everything. and the good happiness of life. and. most important. you will find that ideal man whom you are seeking!
