Led by the inajorettes and Hag carriers, the marching band entertained the lolks with snappy music and fancy baton twirling. As our musicians played their school song, the visiting team got a big hello from the hometown spec- tators. On special occasions some group would put on a special show, as when the Spanish Club presented a bull light ou the 50-yard-line. After the excitement ofthe big game was over, classes progressed as usual. lVe found plenty of diversions to occupy our minds outside of class. The projectionists had an easy life presenting Films to the student body, though once in si while they had a little trouble extricating them- selves from their work. Some days passed very slowly, and it was difficult to concentrate on anything, but we usually managed to live through the ordeal. 21
