HALF-TIME ACTIVITIES This past football season saw hall-time ceremonies at Bloom greatly improved, The majorettes and Flag-twirlers coached by Joan l-lillegonds added lile and sparlcle to the band, which performed more and new formations under the able direction ol Mr. Einar Cannelin, The square dance pictured below was just one ol the interesting features. These girls demonstrate ,their ability to square-dance which they learned in in gym classes. Good, aren t they?

FOOTBALL BANQUET The annual Football Banquet, spon- sored this year by the Chicago l-leights Rotary Club, vvas held on December 3. This event, which honors all ol Blooms football teams and their coaches, was thoroughly enjoyed by all who at- tended. The guest speaker this year vvas Mr, LEFT TO RIGHT: Mr. Buchtel, Dr. Met- calf, Mr. SarT'T, Mr, love, Mr. l-larry Creiqhton. T l larry Creighton, a former resident ol Chicago Heights and now a nationally- Famous TV sports announcer. Mr, Creighton, in his tallc, stressed the value ol morale and co-operation and gave evaluations ol the players he had seen in action.
