Oni' memories are many. lieminiseing over the past lour years. we luring: eertain events to the limelight. VIl'iUl'X lmn- quets. and the grand and glorious prom planned and worked ont so sueeessfully hy our eapalile junior ollieers? We are left with sad memories as well as happy memories. The first day of our senior year. ai sudden mist of gloom was east over the sehool. Our prineipal. Mr. Puckett. whom we had all learned to know and love, had suddenly passed away. His death left us with a feeling of momentary helplessness. the feeling of a door heing suddenly elosed upon us: yet the strength of his aeetnnplishments left us a solid foundation upon whieh to eontinue liuilding. Mr. l'uekett's yacaney was filled hy Mr. Ray- mond D. Meade from West Aurora. Although we have lneen under the leadership of Mr. Meade for only a short time, we have learned to look up to him as our eounsellor and guide. Our hopes are high as we leave Bloom and enter a new era in life. carrying with ns the many memories which are eflerveseent in our minds. So llloom. may we say. Dienst. departmental superintendent of public instruction from N-- hraska was the speaker. After presentation f awards. the diplomas were distrihnted and this yearis seniors were alumni.
