Choir And College Ensemble This year the BCC Choir has had one of its best choral years. Along with their usual choral assemblies the choir, also was invited to sing at the Palmer House in the fall for a teachers convention. Approximately 35 students participated in this year's choir. Under the direct- ing of Mrs. jean Workman, the choir and the College Ensemble sang for the Christmas Chocolate and the SEA Faculty Children Christmas Party. Seven Students attended an Illinois junior College Choral Association program in Peoria, Jan. 19 to 21. Choir president is Steve l-Iallg vice - president is Roger Weis, and secretary is Lee Theobald.

Student Educotlon Association Student Education Asso- ciation is an organization designed to introduce ed- ucation as a career to college students. lt offers the opportunity for a stu- dent to find if he or she is suited to become a future teacher. SEA is continuing its program of tutoring the educative mentally handi- capped children at the frosh-soph division. Also on their schedule is the tutoring of Spanish-spealv ing children from district 170. Bloom Dromo Assoclotion The Bloom Drama Asso- ciation was formed this year to stimulate the appreciation of the dramatic arts among the student body. Activities consist of group trips to various area theaters and the planning and produc - tion of plays. Through- out the year several presentations are per- formed in conjunction with the Men's Union, Phi Theta Kappa, and other campus organizations. The club is open to any student who has an inter- est in any phase of theatrical production. 7

..6Q. Inter -Varsity Christian Fellowship is a non denominational organization which consists of weekly Bible studies and dis cussions relating to the Christian concept of all phases of campus life. Membership is open to all students and faculty members who are interested in its purpose. Meetings are under the direction of Mr. Lennart Olund, librarian. .Q 26
