The welcoming committee was made up of the seniors who compiled the stunts and car- ried them out in the presence of the student body. As an annual tradition, the new teachers were also put before the students to demonstrate their talents. During the initiation, the freshmen were painted with lipstick, run through the mill and given several tasks to perform.
