Clark made the second quarter rather monotonous, scoring on the first play of the period and twice more before Whittington scored his second six-pointer. The third score came after a 62-yard drive that was more controlled by penalties than either team's play. Blinn picked up hack-to-hack first downs off penalties. Clark did the final honors with a nine- yard run and Trussell stretched the lead to 21-0. l-Ienderson's next possession was only one play long as Baker picked off his first pass and set up the next Blinn scoring drive of 33 yards. Clark scored on fourtl1-and- goal from the one when he faked a dive and kept around the end. va '.'.'y'.'-1 Q .'.'
