Dear Students: E3L.lPdPQ C:CDl.l.EEC5EE aRsNHAM.TExAs77eas After many long months of planning, making pictures, layouts, and writing copy, we present you with the 1978 BUCCANEER. In no way could we capture, on film, all of the experiences that you had at Blinn. But we hope that when you look through the Buccaneer that in some way it will bring back personal pictures of the many friends made and memories shared at Blinn. As the annual concerns itself with life and the need for- involvement, the BUCCANEER 'lg thanks its sponsor, W. O. Dietrich. He understands total commitment to life, how valuable all its moments are, and demands only the very best from all those he meets. His time is not so precious that he would ever turn away from a student and not listen to the problem at hand. Blinn is not too large to becomellost, and we hope that all of you have experienced life-long friendships. Through the Buccaneer, these friendships may last from generation to generation. And may you have a good life by having been touched by the stepping stone most memorable So we say good hello to a new experiences of Blinn College. It is but a to the whole life process, but we hope a One. bye to this part of our life. No, we say way of life. As you continue your life, whether seeking higher education or working at your chosen profession, we wish you good luck as you leave the security of Blinn. In this world of confusion, things will change. Yet, a memory that will long remain with us--Blinn College- a place we looked to experience an aspect of life that will never change. In closing, I thank the staff, expecially Wendy, for the extra hours and holidays spent in preparing this book.
