Eva Beazley Dormitory Eva Beazley dormitory was built in 1966. The dormitory is named in honor of Mrs. Eva Atkinson who was Dean of Women and Chairman of the Science Department. She is retired now and is the wife of President james H. Atkinson, the Blinn College President. The dormitory houses forty-two girls. The young girls will always remember their many enjoyable days that they have spent by living in the dormitory. Through the interest and efforts of Mrs. Bessie Fenley, the group has participated in all school activities as dormitory decorating contest, built spirit posters, and many other school projects. The young ladies in the dormitory have learned to work well together which has helped to form close ties of friendship that will surely last for the rest of their lives.
