The Stage band performs in the Student Center. Blinn Band The Blinn College Marching Band per- formed at all home games. The band per- formed at the opening day of the 1977 STATE FAIR of Texas and in the Austin County Fair Parade. The band sponsored the BUCCANEER MARCHING FESTIVAL. The Band has a Christmas concert and a spring concert which are free to the public. Besides the concerts on the campus, the band takes a concert tour for several days in which the band plays an average of three concerts per day on the road at area high schools. lt also marches in the Brenham Maifest Parade which is held every May. Membership is open to qualified musicians through audition with the band director.
