Solons Hall .N N Maude Smith Solon is defined as being a legislator or a lawmaker. Blinn College owes its' origin to two Texas Solons: Albert Stone and R.A. Fuchs, who played an important role in the passing of a bill that gave Blinn the privilege of being an ever-growing educational system in Texas. The newest edition to the men's dorms is under the capable supervision of Mrs. Maude Smith, who strives to make Solons Hall as much like home as pos- sible. She does this by always being around to lend a helping hand to a 104 member family. She receives aid from the dorm officers and staff. They are: Presi- dent, Bill Collier: Vice President, Donald Anderson: Sec.-Tres., Terry Parker: Office Secretary, Joe M. Pierce: Sgt. at Arms, Ray Myers: and dorm worker, Cody Barron. The dorm is kept in tip-top condition by Mrs. Annie Mae Turner. Solons Hall received the honor of being the best decorated men's dorm for homecoming, and won an outstanding sword. Each member of the Dorm will continue to make Blinn College proud of its' existence. 160 Zarlor Ali, John Mason Carlos Rodrigues 1 - v ' Rodney Hester Tim Lambert, Don Von Miden
