rl, I Katherine Atkinson Hall Mrs. Louise Bolster is the best dorm matron on campus, according to the Katherine Atkinson girls. She is like a mother because she took us to the doctor when we were ill and checked each room every night to say goodnight and make sure we were well. Because she cares, she allowed the Student Officers in the dorm to preside at all dorm meetings and participating girls voted on all group projects and activities. The '72-'73 school year in KA Hall started off with a 'get acquainted' party given by the Sopho- more Girls. During the football season, the girls made posters for the football games, letting the players know that we 112 were 100'Ms behind them. Everyone helped decorate the dorm for Home- coming. Mrs. Bolster received a mum from all of the girls before the big game. Two weeks before Christmas vaca- tion, we picked 'snowflakes.' Each girl picked a name from a hat and left little gifts with notes all over the dorm for her 'snowflake' to find. At the annual Christ- mas party she placed a gift for her 'snowflake' under the dorm Christmas tree.
