Robert Muellers, sponsor, Richard Kotria 98 , A' D To Bed With The LOG Many hours are spent behind the scenes before the student body receives the issue of the college newspaper, the BLINN LOG. In the inception of a news story, the first requirement of a reporter is that he develops his nose for news and spots a story or discovers it on his visits before each issue of the newspaper. After interviewing news sources, he writes and types the story in the budding. This is done during his free time or during his lab periods that are assigned in connection with his journalism class. After the story is completed, the reader enters the picture when he edits copy for errors made by the reporter writes headlines. The size of type for headlines is done by estimating the al mate length of the story. After the copy is error free, the begins his jigsaw puzzle task of mal- the pages so that each article and pic' the page. This is often a trial and error the pages fit perfectly. Konza Klub Since its organization in 1947, Konza Klub has been dedicated to promoting school spirit and to performing useful service to both Blinn College and the Brenham community. Among Konza's spirit activities for the 1972-73 school year were parties held for Blinn athletes, posters made to en- courage attendance at football games, and a dance after the football game. Konza Klubs Victory Flag flew to mark each Blinn athletic victory. Service proiects this year included entertaining pupils in special education classes at an Easter Egg Hunt.
