Science Clyde Martin Students Gain Understanding in the Scientific World The place of discovery in the scientific training has never been questioned. Science laboratory materials and equipment are helping to meet the needs of the department in giving the student an opportunity to practice the discovery method more often. The objectives of the department are to prepare a student with the basic principles of sciencewhich enable the student to con- tinue his work, to present a course of study for stu- dents who plan to enter a profession, and to offer courses to satisfy science requirements for those students Who are major- ing in subjects other than science, mathematics, or engineering.
