As the 1966-67 school year COIuca LO a Close, we look back at new growth, faculty and student increases, more activities, new friends, and a new way oflife. For many of us, Blinn is the future for the next school year, while to those parting, Blinn means the foundation for a senior college, a good memory, a parting of friends, and amaturing part of our life. The 1967 BUCCANEER, a pictorial history of the past year, is presented in a collegiate fashion to convey past events that will long be remembered by many. The 1967 BUCCANEER contains an additional seventy-six pages over that of the 1966 BUCCANEER, along with colored pictures for the first time in a Blinn Annual. More pictures have been used to portray student life and activities for your memories and enjoyment. The staff has tried to make this yearbook one which belongs to the students. The staff hopes that this yearbook will be treasured and remembered by the ad- ministration, faculty, and student body. Many thanks to Kenneth James, Travis Brewer, Bonnie Grabow, Deanne Dipple, Margaret Sander, Marian Janda, Pattie Hoffmann, Harold Luedecke, Diana Noviskie, and Ann Fortenberry for their time and effort spent in selling the greatest amount of ads that were ever sold for a BUCCANEER; Miss Margaret Mittelstaedt and Mrs. Martha Holcomb for their help and the excellent typing they provided; Miss Betty Plummer for her organizational help and advice; The Freshman Class for their contribution to give the BUCCANEERa more elaborate cover; Winkelmann Studio for their consideration, patience, and fine photography; The Administration for all their efforts in making the BUCCANEER a success, and Mr. Wilfred O. Dietrich, sponsor, for his patience,dedi- cation, and many hours of hard work to make the 1 967 BUCCANEER a reality. Sincerely, Douglas Schoppe Editor 245
