The 15,500 square feet of floor space Student Center provides college entertain- ment. One of the basic means for the students to relax is to play a game of p001. Some find it more relaxing by listening to classical and popular music and watching colored television. Besides these relaxing activities, the students enjoy playing cards and ping pong. h.gJ

Mrs. Bess Emley, Hostess The Blinn Student Center, constructed in 1966, houses lounge areas, offices, game rooms, acafeteria, bookstore, assembly rooms, and a post office. The six lounge areas, furnished with modern furniture, are used and enjoyed by the students.; These areas serve as places for students to enjoy; fellowship, to study, and to have collegiate dis- cussions. Besides the lounge areas, the Center has a post; I office, a cafeteria where regular dinners and short: orders are served, and a bookstore where all books and necessary supplies for any college student may be purchased. h The Student Center has facilities for entertain- ment as the area with the stage which is used for dances, plays, and movies. Cafeteria 8z Custodial Help The administration, faculty, and student body appreciate the interest and pride that the custodians have for Blinn College. The gratefulness for their services may not always be expressed in words, but the feelings are in the depth of their hearts. Besides the custodial services, the student body appreciates the meals Which are prepared daily by the dedicated cooks.
