The TJCAA Convention was held at Blinn College, April 30, 1966, for the purpose to reorganize the Association. The following officers were elected: William Bishop - president, Blinn;John- ny Bilberry-first vice president, South Plains; George Lloyd - second vice presi- dent, Kilgore; Douglas Schoppe-sec- retary-treasurer, Blinn; James Cox-re- porter, Cisco; and Mike Lewis-parlia- mentarian, Cisco. Lawrence Hemann, Blinn Instructor, was appointed state adviser. The 1967 State Convention was held April 29 at Kilgore College. The two candidates for office were Billy Jensen and Paul Heidemann. The two voting delegates were Everett Bailey and Martin Schubert. The sweetheart candidate was Kay Wright, a Freshman from Houston. 1 55
