J l khjelrrwkl . l, X ' Crowning of Queen Climaxes Homecoming The various organizations at Blinn all contributed to insure the success of the annual Homecoming. The activities began with the painting of spirited slogans on the students cars. The Circle K again sponsored the dormitory decoration contest. The winners of the contest were Spencer Hall, first place, and Schwartz Hall, second place. The Konza Klub and the Circle K jointly sponsored the traditional torch light parade. The profits were donated to the yearbook fund. After the parade, the student body was treated With refreshments. After the refresh- ments the students enjoyed a dance in the Student Center. The high point of the homecoming half time show was the crowning of the Homecoming Queen. The honor of being Homecoming Queen fell to Miss Susie Mirns of Houston, Texas. Her reign will be always remembered by the student body. Is Cisco all that good? f The 1966-1967 Homecoming Queen, Susie Mims, escorted by Robert Schutze of Austin is crowned by the 1965-1966 Homecoming ll Queen, Judy Rehms. Pete Marrano presented Susie with a bouquet of roses. 125 y .
