3: Mr. Buccaneer Contributes to Blinn Through Spirit,Activities, and Clubs Douglas Schoppe, a sophomore Agriculture major from Houston, participates in many school activities and functions and holds several executive positions in various organizations and clubs. During his freshman year, he served as Secretary of the Circle K Club and Treasurer of the Blinn Jr. College Agriculture Association. He was an active mem- ber of the Lutheran Students Association. t V During his sophomore year, he served as president 5, . of the Lutheran Students Association and Schwartz Hall, , Vice-president of the Blinn College AgricultureAssocia- tion, Secretary-Treasurer of the Texas Jr. College Ag- ' riculture Association, member of the Board of Directors f of the Circle K Club, Editor of the Buccaneer, and an active member of the Press Club. Mr. Buccaneer is the symbol of a Blinn student who strives to make Blinn College a better college. At the same time he makes himself a more scholastically minded ' person and develops a spirit and an active desire tot participate in collegiate activities and clubs.
