M iss Buccaneer Participates in Activities and Clubs Susan Cartier, a social science major from Austin, participates in many activities on the campus and holds a position in many organizations. During her freshman and sophomore years, she was a Homecoming Queen candi- date, member of the Konza Klub, Curtain Club, and Newman Club. During her sophomore year, Susan was named assistant editor of the Buccaneer, elected Student Council treasurer,and served as Konza Klub president. She is a member of the Press Club and T. P. Walker Chapter of Texas Students of Education. Susanls ambition is to get as much from life as possible by taking advantage of all the culture that is made available to man by man. In addition, her desire is to prepare herselfwhereby she will become a contribut- ing individual to society that wants to be challenged.
