I:erdie. as he is known throughout the school, came to Blessed Sacrament from Italy and has become well liked by all who know him. He possesses an outstanding scholastic record and has quickly adapted himself to American sports. He is an avid rooter for a certain Bronx team and has made his weight felt on the intramural baseball team. He is very industirous and sincere in all that he at- tempts. He was captain of the cross-country team, and is referred to as Flash in the track campaign. lid is always good for a laugh and is often the life of a party. One of the most ambitious boys in Blessed Sacrament High School is john Flanagan who was chosen Iiditor for the 1951 Yearbook. Throughout his four years at B. S. he has kept his average well in the 90's. He has maintained a high popularity record among the stu- dents. He is characterized by a friendly smile and a strong loyalty to his school. Hike has decided on engineering as a career although he has not decided where he will continue his education.

Pere's nonchalant xx ay of getting things done typifies his character, that of always being willing to lend a hand in troublesome situations. A broad smile enraptures his beaming happy-go-lucky manner. A polished dancer, he also cut some fancy steps on the basketball court. Pete is undecided as to where he will attend college. JOHN DELLA PENN.-X john, who travels by way of the Fordham Bus to the Xlaple Avenue Mansion each day, is known for his quiet but friendly manner and pleasant personality. He has livened many a dull moment with a well timed quip. Del has often been a deciding factor in the outcome of an intramural softball game. After the completion of his final year he intends to study pharmacy at Fordham Lf. where he will cer- tainly become a credit to Blessed Sacrament as well as himself. 5
