Our Junior-Senior Banquet The annual Junior-Senior banquet was held in the gym Saturday evening May 9th at which time the Junior Class under the direction of their sponsors, Mr. Emil Corgiat and Mr. Mike Makuh, honored the members of the 1953 graduating class. The theme of the banquet, Under Western Skies, was carried out in white fringed paper decorating the ceiling and multi-colored streamers cascading along the walls. The napkins, memory booklets and place cards featured horsemen. Fresh flowers formed the table centerpieces. The servers added much color to the scene with their bright Western costumes. Favors were presented to the guests, which included the faculty members and their wives and husbands, and members of the board of education and their wives. The dinner, traditionally prepared by the mothers of members of the Junior Class, was eaten by candlelight.
