Senior Class Prophecy Listen well, Oh my people, for I, Gitchemanito, the great white spirit of all Indians shall disclose my visions of the future for the braves and squaws of the Benld Tribe. Little Deerfoot, also known as SHIRLEY BRAIDO, after working as a female Jerry Lewis in a night club act has finally settled down with her brave and is now busy raising papooses. Dancing Elk or DONALD BILLY has left his old hunting grounds to attend college where he has gained fame as a track star. My vision grows a bit dim but before it disappears, I seem to see a little blonde squaw sharing his teepee with him. DOLORES DeMARTINI or Laughing Eyes to the members of her tribe has fulfilled her ambition of flying like the birds and after being an air force nurse has married a brave from a distant tribe, the Purple Panthers. Him-who-thinks-much, or as he is known in the science world, Prof. JOHN CASCIO is well known as the scientist which perfected the idea of using scotch tape to hold together the split atom. Crazy-Horse or KENNY EBERT, is too busy trying to accomplish his ambition of being a multi-millionaire at thirty to pay any attention to anything other than his chickens and his money. Firewater or PHIL- LIP EVANCHO has reached great heights in Hollywood where he was greeted as a second Rudolph Valentino and John Barrymore rolled into one. Look for him in the next remake of the The Shiek. MARILYN FREW or Brown Eyes, after being an airline stewardess has settled down in Benld and with her brave is now raising a baseball team. DALE GERLT or Koontoot as he is called in tribal circles has made his fortune by taking over the ownership of one of the biggest bowling alleys in the world, The Bowl, in Spring- field--from pin boy to owner, quite a jump! Dark Eyes or DONALD ISMARI has taken over Ted Mack's Amateur Hour on television. He is one boy who has really made his music do things for him for when he is not on television he and his orchestra play at the Copacabana. TOM Sitting Bull JURAVICH has achieved fame as a second Jim Thorpe. After taking part in the Olympics he has gone back to his job of playing line man for the Chicago Bears. MARVIN He-who-is-mighty KALASKIE has set up his own electrical shop right on the Indian reservation of Benld. He knew that there is no place like home so he came back to pick a squaw and put up his business. Marv is one of Benld's model citizens. ROSEANNE Happy Smile Moruskey has reached her goal in life--to be a farmer. She and her brave have 360 acres of good rich farmland and are raising heads and heads of beef cattle and tons and tons of wheat. She now wants to start raising thorough-bred horses. MARGIE MILCIC or One-who-is-calm- and-serene has forsaken the reservation for the big city. She has become a lady ex- ecutive only three years after her graduation from Browns Business College. Margie’s private secretary is GLORIA Fleet-Foot ROSA. Gloria still comes back to her old stamping grounds, for there is a young brave she wants to keep her eye on. KATH- LEEN PERADOTTO has been hailed as the second Florence Nightingale since she has taken over Sister Kenny's work in polio and has made a big advancement in it. ROBERT REMMERT or One-who-lingers-much is now a star attraction in the Bamum and Bailey Circus as the Daredevil that drives stock cars through flaming sheets of fire. Another B B feature is ALFRED Fearless VERNETTI who daily thrills hundreds of people by going through dozens of unbelievable tricks with his lions. Alfred took up lion training after he came back from his trip to Africa gathering species of insects for Coach Olson’s class. Continued on page 30 B

Our { unior Play The Junior Class presented Hillbilly Courtship, a farce in three acts in April under the direction of Mr. Polonius. A brief synopsis of the play is: Ma Peppin, a widowed hillbilly, and Pa Stilsby, another widowed hillbilly, were constantly feuding. Luke, Pa’s son was secretly courting Emmy, Ma's daughter. Luke and Emmy, assisted by various comical characters succeeded in stopping the Peppin-Stilsby feud and even induced the marriage of Ma and Pa. The cast included: Ma Peppin Emmy Peppin Pappy Stilsby Luke Stilsby Wash Jeddo Sol Silvestien Louis Cattero Bridget O'Flannigan Lulu Triffet Seedie Triffet Rev. Boswell USHERETTES Lois Nepute Gloria Rosa Monica Jatcko Roseanne Moruskey Kathleen Peradotto Donald Ismari Tom Juravich George Kasarda Donald Billy Phillip Evancho Shirley Klobnak Dolores DeMartini Shirley Braido Alfred Vernetti STAGE HELP Marjorie Milcic Marie Wargo Marvin Kalaskie Marilyn Frew To show their appreciation for his work and patience in directing them, the class presented a wristwatch to Mr. Polonius.
