CLASS PROP!-IECY As my husband and I were motoring to our home in Dallas we decid- ed to stop by our old Home Town, Blanket. As Blanket came in view we realized what a change had taken place. The main street was a wide thoroughfare, with tall, neat, brick buildings lining each side. As we stopped in front of the Blanket State Bank Building we noticed a large sign which said, 'Maurice Priddy, M. D. Across the street we noticed a building which was the Mcllhaney Dancing School. The owner was the former Miss Juanita Jones, who had married Frank Mcllhaney. I went into the bank and saw my old school mate Wanda Oldham, as cashier. As it was nearing lunch hour we decided to goto the nearest cafe. We noticed it was the Miller Cafe. As we went in the cafe we were sur- prised to see the former Miss Bobbie Jean Mackey. She told us that she had married Bill Miller of Gustine and that they had a boy and a girl aged 2. and 3 years old. As she showed us to a table we were again more startled than ever when Miss Georgia Ola White waited on our table. She told us that Pearl and .Timmie Haddon were running a huge Haddon Hollow Dairy Farm and were supplying all the milk for the city. Miss White also informed us that my old school pal Patsy Levisay was teaching'English in Dear Old Blanket High School, but the school was a- fraid that they were going to lose. Miss Levisay, because L.B. Follo- well had finally gotten up enough courage to ask her to marry him. We then finished eating lunch and went outside. As we were walking down the street we saw a station wagon pass. On the side was a sign, 'Crouch and Cantwell Hereford Ranchers', since Marshall had finally hooked Vivone and had gone into business with his brother-in-law. We noticed a Huge Super Market across the street, we decided to go in and look around. As we entered we were met at the door by Donald Eddings. He informed us that he was the proprietor. He asked us to come back to his air-conditioned office to meet his wife and children. We were very surprised to find his wife the former Miss Patsy Smith. They had three lovely children. As we were leaving town Bill and I dis- cussed all the changes which had been made in our old home town, now the biggest little city in Texas. Wanda Brewster
