College bound students found their subject matter more difficult and time-consuming while others chose lighter matter, easing the load and allowing more free time. Fund raising was no longer door- to-door, but person-to-person! They began the year selling spices, then took orders for various Christ- mas gifts. The first day of deer sea- son they held a bake sale. These, along with $15 class dues, provided most of the funds needed for a lively Prom.
