Karen Harden, senior candidate, showed her knack in the above qualifications by selling 142 annuals and was declared Miss Echo on Sep- tember 26 during Miss Echo Day festivities. Colene Munsey and Marilyn Penley introduced the candidates and partici- pants. Performers not pictured were Roberta Young and Laura Cochran. The Echo Staff “hams it up” with a skit entitled ‘“We’re the Bland Staffers’.
