Patty Crowned Queen BHS‘s annual Homecoming, sponsored by the senior class, was held on January 9. The crowning of the queen, selected by popular vote, began the evening. Students then danced the night away to music provided by A W productions. Bob Atwell, Lora Groseclose, Delisa Miller, Debbie Dillow, Jimmy Barker, Charlie Brown, Susan Kegley, Kevin Cox, Lucy Munch Sharing is fun when it’s the FBLA March of Dimes Dance- a-thon. FBLA’ers danced in the halls, during class, and at the afternoon school dance on February 5, 1981. With deter- mination these students sought the support of the com- munity, businesses, and individuals to help in the March of Dimes drive. The class collecting the most was Mrs. Bailey’s first grade and they were honored with entertainment and refreshments by the FBLA. Who’s the fairest of them all? Students and faculty chose Tammy Cline as their Sweetheart Queen on February 6, 1981, with second and third places going to Sharon Simmons and Lora Groseclose. Each organization sponsored a can- didate and secret ballots determined the winner. The Sweetheart Dance was sponsored by the Pep Club.
