RETIREMENT Mr. Ralph Reynolds retired in 1 978 after 32 years of educational service. He served in the army and now is a retired lieutenant colonel in the army reserves. He received his masters degree from VPI SU. Mr. Reynolds taught Vocational Agriculture beginning in 1946 at Bland. Later, in 1962. he became principal of Bland Combined School. He is married to Katherine Lucas, and has two children. Dale and Susan, and one grandchild. Many sincere thanks and appreciation is ex- tended to this great man for his advice, friendship, and guidance. Mr. Ralph R. Reynolds Mrs. Marie Groseclose also retired in 1978 af- ter 38 years of teaching. She received her B.S. degree from Radford College. Mrs. Groseclose started her teaching career in a one-room school house in 1940. but has spent the bulk of her career at Bland teaching the seventh grade. She was married to the late Henry C. Groseclose. We extend to Mrs. Groseclose many wishes of happiness for a long and happy retirement. Mrs. Marie C. Groseclose
