We, the Senior class of 1974, are very proud of our educational facilities and grateful to the Bland County officials who have made this accomplishment possible. Mr. Reynolds, Principal, and Mr. Gilly, Superintendent, have successfully served from 1962 to the present time. 5

Years of Growth Bland High School was built in 1917. Mr. F.L. Dunn was Super- intendent from 1910-1920, and Dr. J.A. Wagner served as Superintendent from 1920-1941. The Wagner Auditorium, erected in 1937, was named in his honor. Bland High became an accredited school in the 1922-23 session. There were eight graduates. Now1, in the 1973-74 session, there are 42 graduates. Old Bland High School. There were ten teachers and 131 students in the 1935- 36 term. The present enrollment for the 1973-74 year is 504 students with a faculty of 27 members. Bland High School destroyed by fire on July 30, 1962. o Q BLAND COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD 1936 - 37 VV- E. STOWERS.
