To you, Mr. Frank D. Williamson, the 1965 Seniors proudly dedicate this edition of THE ECHO. Mr. Frank D. Schools do not come into existence by the waving of a wand, but they can be created by the dreams and plans of man. The men responsible for the school's creation are the Board of Supervisors and Board of Education. The physical growth of Bland High School has not been ragged and without purpose, but been planned throughout each of its 104 years, sometimes the planning has been too far in the future for the present needs, but has always brought results within a short time. The old building surrounded by tradition and still serving a useful purpose, blends in with the modem structure and yields only in years to the one now under construction. An outstanding example of progress made by the school is that view of the new building which is still under construction with the Elementary school in the background, which was constructed in 1962. 12 FACULTY MRS.
