These words of Lincoln spoken at Gettysburg seem most appropriate- That we highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain, that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, and forthe people, shall not perish from the earth. MRS. LILLIE B. WADE A member of the second graduating class of Blanchester High School, gave so much willing service to the betterment of our youth and our schools that we wish to place her name on this page. She served efficiently as a teacher and as a member of the Board of Education for twenty-four years. The 'following verse found among her clippings reflects her philosophy of living.
